Paintings Quotes

I take this art very seriously and passionately. I love what I do. You can't help but grow. That's not to say you don't make mistakes or make bad choices, but that's part of the art. Painters paint bad paintings.

But I hang on to books. I love them. I even think they're very nice decor in a room - far better than paintings... That's not quite true!

I've just finished my 20th book this past year and I'm working on my 21st book about the Middle East right now that I'll finish this year. And I get up early in the morning and when I get tired of the computer and tired of doing research, I walk 20 steps out to my woodshop and I either build furniture or paint paintings. I'm an artist too.

The paintings may communicate even better because people are lazy and they can look at a painting with less effort than they can read a poem.

I think of my peace paintings as one long poem, with each painting being a single stanza.
